Our wonderful 6th class group of 2021 recently celebrated finishing primary school. This amazing group of girls attended a graduation mass with Fr. Ben on June 11th. On the 18th of June the girls had a super 6th class fun day. They partook in novelty races in the morning time in Coffee’s field. They then enjoyed some lunch along with a creamy 99 ice-cream. The day continued with a dance class with Trish McCarthy after small lunch followed by a game of soccer and rounders. After working up quite an appetite the girls were delighted to feast on some pizza and wedgies from Four Star Pizza! To finish off the day on a mellow note, the girls painted each others nails and sat around chatting in the sunshine.
The fun didn’t stop there! On Tuesday 22nd of June the girls competed in a soccer tournament. Wednesday the 23rd was the big day! At 9:30 the girls had an in-house graduation ceremony which was attended by their past teachers as well as our principal Ms. Long and vice principal Ms. Allen. This was a a celebration of the girls’ time in our school as well as an opportunity to say goodbye. That afternoon, the girls’ parents and guardians took some pictures outside the school of the girls with their graduation hats. On Friday the 25th of June, the girls official last day of school, we went for a walk to McDonalds in Turners Cross where the girls enjoyed some chips, burgers, nuggets and a McFlurry.
A huge congratulations to the 6th class girls on graduating from primary school. We hope you come back to visit us ! 🙂
